For these reasons CMI has chosen the new Philips 64 slice CT scanner for its practice. This new scanner offers state-of-the-art imaging of multiple areas including head, neck, chest, abdomen, lungs and pelvis with less radiation than that required by other competitive systems. It also permits CMI to perform exquisite images of the vascular system and acquire most of these studies in less than 15 seconds!

Additionally, CMI is now able to offer state-of-the-art CT angiography, including functional assessment of the heart and evaluation of the coronary arteries. It’s widely believed that this new technology will replace diagnostic catheter angiography for assessment of the coronary arteries and other components of the arterial and venous system. This new capability is totally consistent with Chi’s long-standing interest in providing imaging that is faster, better, safer and more affordable.
